A piece of patchwork fabric mounted on a black fabric stretched frame. The piece has orange, yellow, and purple fabrics embroidered over in matching thread in a variety of stitches. In the lower right there is a beaded oval with a radiating honeycomb stitch pattern.

Mounted on a board covered with a pastel yellow and blue batik fabric, this embroidery features a number of different sashiko stitch techniques. It has a small weaving done on a mending loom, a blue fabric yo-yo, blue netting and beading, and a pink and purple fabric that's been sewn into a rippling shape. The overall colors are pastel yellow, blue, pink, and purple and gives the feeling of a coral reef under the sea.
